Skilled Nursing

Home Health Nurses are skilled health care professionals who provide at-home, individual care for patients. Our Nurses provide support to a range of patients and help them maintain or improve their health.  Patients may include individuals who have been discharged from a hospital or rehabilitation facility following surgery or an injury. They may also include, those with a chronic sickness, terminal illnesses, or disability.

The responsibilities and treatments a Home Health Nurse perform include:

  • Monitoring patient health and vital signs.
  • Completing Medical histories.
  • Dispensing medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Providing services such as IV therapy, wound care, and insertion of catheters.
  • Educating patients about nutrition, pain management, care procedures, and general information about their condition.
  • Making recommendations based on the patients’ progress.
